Scholarships are available ensuring that Girl Scouting is accessible to all Vermont girls.
The Girl Scout Council of Vermont is a not-for-profit Vermont Corporation chartered by Girl Scouts of the USA in 1964 to administer and develop Girl Scouting in Vermont . The Vermont Council was preceded by six "councils" and 25 lone troop communities, which were consolidated with the establishment of The Girl Scout Council of Vermont. The first known Girl Scout Troop in Vermont was established in 1918 in Wilder. Today the Girl Scout Council of Vermont serves the largest number of women and girls in the state!
