ANNOUNCEMENT
Advent and Christimas are two seasons when people tend to reach out to others in a variety of ways.At MCS, the teachers and students are no different and have started making plans so that others may experience God's blessings, too.
Here are some of those plans, and we hope everyone in the MCS community will join us in making them a reality.
Dec. 1 is the kick-off Day for the Joseph's House soap, toothpaste, shampoo "drive."
Dec. 4,12,19, and 23 at 9:00-9:30 a.m. Advent Prayer Service in the gym. All are welcome.
Dec. 8 Mass for the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, 9:00 a.m. in the gym. All are welcome.
Dec. 9 COTS Phonathon. MCS Night. Almost 20 of our faculty and staff are involved in calling.
Dec. 1- 23 Winter wear drive coordinated by the 4th graders.
MAY CHRIST BLESS THE MCS COMMUNITY IN A SPECIAL
WAY DURING THIS HOLY SEASON.
It is important that all of us in the adult community model our sense of the importance of prayer for the students.
Please coninue to, or begin, attending our Prayer Assemblies throughout the year!

LOOKING AHEAD
We will be participating in two TV Masses on Monday, Jan. 12, 2009. The Masses take place at the Brady Center, and we are inviting MCS students and parents to attend these two Masses and do the readings at the Masses.The Masses will be broadcast on TV during Catholic Schools Week for people who are not able to get to church.
Students and drivers need to meet at the Brady Center at approx. 11:15 a.m. for the taping of the Masses.
