Mater Christi PTO School Apparel Announcement
On behalf of the Mater Christi PTO I am pleased to announce the release of Mater Christi School’s official logo wear for the upcoming 2008/09 school year. As was previously announced by the school’s administration, all current uniform wear will be grandfathered in for the upcoming year. As a result, it is not necessary to purchase any new items for next year if you have existing clothing that will meet your family’s needs.
***Please note that the Mater Christi PTO will be your official source for all polo shirts, mock turtlenecks and gym wear. Though similar items appear on the Lands’ End Website they do not have an option to print the Mater Christi logo on them. Per the new uniform guidelines established this year, all students are required to wear official MCS Logo apparel provided through the PTO. With the exception of previously purchased logo apparel, any polo shirts, mock turtlenecks and gym wear purchased though other vendors are not acceptable attire.
Below you will find two links which will give you access to both the PTO’s order form and the Lands’ End website. The PTO’s order form will automatically calculate the total amount ordered for you. You will then need to print this form out and submit the form to the front office with a check or cash for the entire amount due.
In order to control our costs, we would appreciate it if you would assist us in limiting issues related to the wrong sizes ordered as much as possible. Samples of all sizes available to order are located outside the middle school library and will be available for viewing throughout the summer and during the school year during normal business hours. Should you find that there is an issue with the items ordered either due to size or defect, rest assured that the PTO will gladly exchange the item for you. We anticipate that you will find our service and product offerings to be superior and flexible, but we need your help. If you are unsure of what size to order, please take the time to try on the samples before ordering.
Order forms and payments for our initial order will be due by Friday, June 13th. Subsequent orders may be placed throughout the summer and during the school year though they will only be processed twice a month on the 15th and 30th. Your items should arrive within two weeks of your order. The orders will be shipped directly to your home. Shipping charges will be a flat rate of $9 per order. The final deadline for placing an order for the start of the 08/09 school year is August 1st. The PTO will have limited items available for sale on the first day of school, though we would appreciate your help by placing your orders as soon as possible to avoid “volunteer overload” the last few days of the summer.
All items will be available for sale throughout the year and a limited number of items will be available for immediate purchase in case you need to replace an item quickly.
