Mater Christi School Students Follow the Stations of the Cross

March 24, 2015

Towards the end of the Lenten season, the students, faculty and a number of visitors “made” the Stations of the Cross in the Mater Christi School gym. Three 8th grade students, holding candles and a Cross, processed from Station to Station as students from grades 1-8 took turns reading the story of the Station and the accompanying prayers. The students’ attention and prayerfulness made for a beautiful assembly.

Retired art teacher, Deena Couture, created the banner-type Stations with their dramatic representations a few years ago.
