Mater Christi Will Suspend Classes in Proactive Closure

March 13, 2020

Mater Christi School will suspend classes and move to remote learning effective at the close of school today in an effort to help mitigate the spread of the coronavirus. Research shows that closing schools proactively can slow down the spread of disease. MCS does not have an active case or known risk of exposure in its immediate school community. MCS faculty had already initiated training on remote learning and plan to be active with their students online early next week. Faculty and administration will continue to work through the closure, ensuring the school is positioned to reopen as soon as possible.
