News: Rhonda From CSWD Visits MCS

The first and second grade classes welcomed Recycle Rhonda from CSWD (Chittenden Solid Waste District) to share her Compost Critters program on Thursday, September 6, 2018.  This program teaches children about the importance of composting. Mater Christi collected toiletries this week to donate to Joseph’s House. Joseph’s House is a community outreach program located in the Church of Immaculate Conception in downtown Burlington. People who have fallen on hard times come to Joseph’s House to receive comfort. Mater Christi School Wins at Mathematics State Fair

On Saturday, April 7, 2018, the Vermont Council of Teachers of Mathematics held their second statewide math fair at the University of Vermont. Students in grades K-12 from all over the state of Vermont presented their original projects for judging.
